On a recent online auction dedicated to the sale of diverse works in contemporary art and beyond organized by Tate Ward, Banksy was a definite showstopper, among many featured works by the greats, such as Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Anish Kapoor, Damien Hirst, Cy Twombly, and more.

His 2004 print titled Pulp Fiction which serves as an homage to the cult 1994 American neo-noir, dark comedy crime film directed by Quentin Tarantino snapped up £125,000 GBP (approx. $166,331 American dollars). The print was visible until 2007 when Transport for London painted over the wall. It portrays John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson in their suit-clad roles of Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield holding “banana guns.”
